Toscany, the land of bends and turns

5 day trip
We have been visiting this region for many years, but there are still things to explore. Our favorite small towns such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Montalcino, Vinci, San Dalmazio, Casole d’Elsa and Lajatico welcome us as old acquaintances with their atmospheric medieval town squares and coffee shops. It is good to spend some time here with a coffee and enjoy sunlight. During the trips, we will ride our motorcycles on winding roads next to diverse landscapes, olive groves and vineyards. We will show you all of this within the framework of a five-day trip program.

Apartment House Giusy
This typical Tuscan stone house is located halfway between Volterra and Siena, next to the town of Casole di Elsa, with apartments for 2, 4 or 6 persons and a pool. The stone house, which has been renovated in an impeccable manner, can be accessed from the road through a short path edged with olive trees, and we can also find a restaurant next to the apartments. The accommodation is classified as an “agriturismo”, an authentic Tuscan family farm, which provides an ideal basis for the week we spend here.
Separate apartments with impeccable and rustic interior design, well-equipped kitchens, roomy spaces, free Wi-Fi, television and friendly staff. The location is ideal for starting our trips to each direction.
All of the 8 apartments are located in the main building, each of them has a separate entrance, and an outdoor table in the garden or in the courtyard. The restaurant is located in the middle, next to a small coffee place where we can order a coffee or tea during the day, within the opening hours of the reception.
A covered motorcycle parking area is available for us next to the main building.
There is a large balcony behind the building, we can access the pool by stairs from here, where sunbeds and sunshades are waiting for people wishing to relax.

I have been into motorcycles, motorcycle trips and searching for adventures since my childhood. For me, true freedom means when I don’t know what is waiting for me after the next turning. I like to discover new landscapes, locations and routes. I have made many new friends on my adventures, and after leading many trips, I have acquired an adequate experience and local knowledge while riding the roads and landscapes of Europe over the course of the years.
Safe traffic is essential for me, therefore I participate at different motorcycle safety courses each year.
Two additional own thoughts about Tuscany:
Together with due hospitality, the presence of past and traditions in everyday life provides enough serenity to allow us to get away from everyday life.
Beckoning landscapes, turnings, roads and nice small towns are making it a real heaven of motorcyclists for those who like adventure
